If the angels were to form an indie-pop band, they might sound something like this. This music seems to be stuck in a warm, golden, and otherworldly state and the lead singer has one of the dreamiest falsetto vocals I've ever heard. The first time I heard this album was a few years ago, and I was awestruck. Since then, my appreciation and admiration for it has grown on me even more. This is one of the few '00s albums that I've listened to more than 30 times. Not only have they come up with an amazing sound, but all 12 of these tracks are gems. I've come to realize that it's a shame that so few people have heard this, so it was a rather easy decision for me to nominate it. - Don Ignacio
